New Member of the WOW team

We have a new education coordinator! Elaine Stanley has joined our team and will be based in BW’s Watford office.

Elaine brings a wealth of experience to our team as she has worked as a teacher and as a learning coordinator for BW in London–and with the New Waterways Charity fast approaching we are all looking forward to working together in these exciting times.

Elaine (and Sarah C) will be focussing on developing a team of WOW education volunteers who will deliver our learning programme to schools, to Cub Scouts & Brownies and out on the towpath.

Initially we are concentrating our efforts at specific locations around England & Wales with Elaine covering the south and Wales, Sarah C the midlands and north.

We will also all continue to develop learning resources, manage the WOW website and provide advice and support to teachers, group leaders, our partners and colleagues.
