Sand is a success at Middlewich Festival.

When WOW went to the Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival in June Sibelco UK provided the sand for our Build a Canal activity.

British Waterways’ event co-ordinator Eliza Botham said, "We used the sandpit to involve children in supervised play; learning about how canals were built and what they are used for. More than 100 children took part over the weekend and it was great fun! We were very grateful for Sibelco's generous donation." This event was part of an ongoing sponsorship by Sibelco UK, who are donating sand for use at more than 20 events around the country.
