Montgomery Canal
A unique opportunity to discover our industrial past!
Llanymynech was once an important centre for industry, producing a lot of lime. The lime was transported by canal and the Montgomery canal along with the Hoffmann Kiln still provides reason too visit today, and is an important heritage site.

- Llanymynech Wharf Visitor Centre - Open Sunday and Bank Holiday afternoons, 2.00 – 4.30pm between Easter and end of September, and Saturday afternoons in July and August
