Visit Saturn at Nantwich

Time of event: 11am - 3pm

This summer Nantwich Museum is staging a fantastic Canal exhibition which will be fun for all the family.

Come to the museum to learn more about what life was like for the people who used to live and work on the canal.

Find out about the wildlife and plants you will find there, the techniques of boat building and the history of the canal around Nantwich.

You can also discover how use of the canal has changed over the centuries and what fun can be had there now.

Between August 17th and 22nd come to Nantwich Marina to see the beautiful Saturn Fly-boat carefully restored to her original working condition by the Shropshire Union Fly-boat Restoration Society.

Enjoy a guided tour and meet the people who care for her now. We are also organising special sessions for school groups from KS1–KS3.
