A popular attraction covering 8 acres, and comprising a visitor centre, aqueduct, restored limekilns and weighing machine cottage. Other features include interactive interpretation, a brass rubbings trail and a literacy sculpture trail. In addition there is a busy marina, slipways, canoe and boat hire, a restaurant, picnic area and children’s slide. Explore the canal, woodland and industrial heritage of the area by following one of the many trails. An ideal place for a family visit.
