Wild Over Waterways at Henley-on-Thames

24 August 2010 to 25 August 2010

Wild over Waterways will be encouraging children to get involved with its activity days at Henley River & Rowing Museum on the River Thames.

Children can get involved with 'Green Fishing', brass rubbing, lace plate making, a Waterways Trail and bat mobiles. These are just some of the fun WOW activities which Inland Waterways Association volunteers will be doing with visiting children at the River and Rowing Museum in Henley-on-Thames.

WOW activities aim to teach children something about the history of the inland waterways, the environmental issues and the wonderful range of structures which can be found there.

The activities can be carried out by children of all ages and parents will enjoy helping too.
