Sponsored walk in Worcestershire

Keen walkers are being encouraged to join the first ever 21 mile Waterways Walk along the Droitwich Canals, River Severn and Worcester & Birmingham Canal in Worcestershire this summer.

The walk is in aid of St Richard's Hospice and starts at Droitwich Rugby Club, taking walkers through the beautiful scenery and open countryside of Worcestershire, passing 41 locks. The walk meanders along the recently renovated Droitwich canal to the River Severn and back along the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.

Registration is free and walkers are encouraged to raise sponsorship. Registrations close on Friday 6 August. Dogs are welcome on this walk.
